Urschel, a 100% employee owned company, has an opening for a Senior Financial Planning Analyst.
Urschel employee-owners design and manufacture industrial cutting equipment for food processing and allied industries around the world from our global headquarters located in Chesterton, Indiana, U.S.A. Consumers purchase goods manufactured on Urschel cutting equipment on a daily basis. Advanced manufacturing technologies are utilized at our climate controlled, clean, and environmentally conscious facility.

A day in the life of a Senior Financial Planning Analyst will oversee the financial planning and analysis consolidation processes for the global business. This includes the activity of 18 foreign sales and service offices and functioning across 11 different currencies. Prepare projections, board presentations and other management reports as required by the business as well as lead the annual planning process for the global organization.
The successful candidate must be a hands-on team player with strong analytical talents, strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and have an inquisitive mind with the ability to structure complex data to make analysis and reporting simple. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and experience with Prophix or similar platform is required. A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in financial analysis in a manufacturing environment is desired. Prior international exposure is a plus. The position will be located at the world-wide headquarters located in Chesterton, IN.
