Urschel, a 100% employee-owned company, has an opening for a Recruiter. The Recruiter is responsible for creating strategic staffing approaches to attract a wide pool of qualified talent for the entire corporate headquarters.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage talent acquisition – Post internal and external jobs and ads. Screen and source qualified applicants and resumes. Interviewing candidates for positions held company wide.
- Strategize – Manage all stages of the recruitment process. Work with leadership to understand the hiring needs of the organization. Create exciting and useful recruiting tactics to attract top-performing employees. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand team needs and facilitate candidate lifecycle processes. Build and maintain relationships ensuring a positive candidate experience while being a promoter of our company.
- Administrative duties –Draft questions and assist with onboarding.
Requirements include; a minimum of 2 years of direct recruiting experience managing all phases of the hiring process, an associate degree in a related field, proactive sourcing tactics and substantial initiative, excellent time management skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines, proven experience with sourcing, social media recruiting techniques and other current web-based employment strategies. Working on-site at the corporate headquarters in Chesterton, Indiana, U.S.A. This is not a remote work position.
