We are seeking a Knife Milling Machine Operator for our day shift operations working Monday-Friday and may require working on Saturday based on workloads in our Chesterton, Indiana production facility.  
 
This successful candidate would make repetitive cuts to acquire accurate dimensions on knife clamps and a variety of knives, including crosscut knives and slicing knives. Sets up and operates manual and CNC milling machines and utilizes a variety of precision gaging equipment. Responsible for deburring, as well as washing and drying parts, ensuring cleanliness post machining.

Qualified applicants must have a minimum of one to two years manufacturing experience with a high school education or equivalent. Basic understanding of manual and CNC milling operations, ability to run multiple milling machines, ability to perform work of a highly repetitive nature requiring a high degree of judgement, concentration and dexterity, ability to solve math problems, and use precision measuring instruments.
