Urschel, a 100% employee owned company, is seeking an Inventory Cycle Counter to join our Planning & Scheduling team. The Inventory Cycle Counter ensures the inventory needs for the operations are met, and that the inventory records are accurate.
Urschel employee-owners design and manufacture industrial cutting equipment for food processing and allied industries around the world from our global headquarters located in Chesterton, Indiana, U.S.A. Consumers purchase goods manufactured on Urschel cutting equipment on a daily basis. Advanced manufacturing technologies are utilized at our climate controlled, clean, and environmentally conscious facility.
$18.76/Hour

This position will count and monitor part inventories to ensure materials align with the system. Evaluating inventories includes utilizing software to determine what requires counting, measuring, and weighing products, maintaining records, opening, and repackaging shipments, locating lost goods, and reporting inconsistent or damaged goods. A cycle counter should further develop and recommend strategies to improve inventory management.
Qualified applicants must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, excellent math, organization, multi-tasking and critical thinking talents. Ability to work independently and possess excellent communication skills. Manufacturing background is a plus.
