Urschel, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a Global Aftermarket Parts Representative to join our team. Reporting to the CSO, the Global Aftermarket Parts Representative is responsible for providing companywide support and promoting aftermarket sales of knives and parts for Urschel machinery. The position is not remote and will be required to report daily to the Corporate Headquarters in Chesterton, Indiana unless traveling for the Company.
Urschel employee-owners design and manufacture industrial cutting equipment for food processing and allied industries around the world from our global headquarters located in Chesterton, Indiana, U.S.A. Consumers purchase goods manufactured on Urschel cutting equipment on a daily basis. Advanced manufacturing technologies are utilized at our climate controlled, clean, and environmentally conscious facility.

Job Duties:
- Successfully intertwines selling and materials engineering to drive aftermarket sales of Urschel knives and parts globally, maintaining responsibility for full sales cycle.
- Collaborates with senior leadership to devise and implement sales strategies that help customers attain their processing goals and increase knife and parts sales volume.
- Endeavors to sustain productive customer relationships and proactively employ innovative ways to identify new prospects. Adeptly communicates Urschel products and solutions to customers.
- Provides robust global technical support for Urschel knives and parts.
- Persistently works to expand the product technical knowledge of global sales force and agents.
- Effectively conducts research to identify customer needs, trends, and business potential in domestic and international markets, including gauging Urschel product performance against competitor offerings.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ technical experience in a manufacturing environment and have an aptitude for effective oral and written communication. A bachelor’s degree in supply chain or business is preferred. Project Management and Sales experience is a plus. The candidate should be able to facilitate negotiations and demonstrate strong decision-making skills. Analytical and creative thinking skills, strong computer skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and presentation skills are essential. Travel will be required 35% of the time both internationally and domestically.
