Urschel, a 100% employee owned company, is seeking a Mechanical Design Support Technician. The Mechanical Design Support Technician provides technical and administrative support to Mechanical Engineers and the Mechanical Design Manager.

Job responsibilities include; modeling parts and assemblies for machinery using Solidworks design software, creating and maintaining production prints, checking prints, assisting in the generation of cost estimates, development of assembly procedures, and distribution of engineering related information.  
 
Requirements include; a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent drafting skills and a high degree of proficiency with Solidworks design software. An associate degree in engineering, technical or manufacturing related discipline and a CAD certificate is desired, but not required.
